As much as I'd like to get Michelin PS4Ss, these were half the price and my Scottish routes can't ignore that. They are very highly reviewed on Tire Rack in the Ultra High Performance Summer category, and so far I'd say the reviews are accurate. While not in the Maximum Performance Summer category of top models like the Michelin PS4S or Continental ECS, in street driving I think you'd have to be on the edge to really notice the difference. For tonight's cruise they were at about 30 PSI which is where the shop set them and is recommended pressure. From a rolling start in first gear they hook hard with a quick roll into full throttle. From a launch they skitter then hook hard with a roll into full throttle. They ride smooth at city speed, highway speed, over bumps and expansion joints and are relatively quiet for a high performance tire. The on centre feel is great. The cornering feel is great with nice weight as the front suspension loads. Braking even feels batter, so the tire must be doing more. I'll post some pictures tomorrow when it's light out.
I just installed Falken Azenis FK510s today in the stock size on stock wheels, and am very happy after going for a cruise tonight especially for the price. :)
