I just installed Falken Azenis FK510s today in the stock size on stock wheels, and am very happy after going for a cruise tonight especially for the price. As much as I'd like to get Michelin PS4Ss, these were half the price and my Scottish routes can't ignore that. They are very highly reviewed on Tire Rack in the Ultra High Performance Summer category, and so far I'd say the reviews are accurate. While not in the Maximum Performance Summer category of top models like the Michelin PS4S or Continental ECS, in street driving I think you'd have to be on the edge to really notice the difference. For tonight's cruise they were at about 30 PSI which is where the shop set them and is recommended pressure. From a rolling start in first gear they hook hard with a quick roll into full throttle. From a launch they skitter then hook hard with a roll into full throttle. They ride smooth at city speed, highway speed, over bumps and expansion joints and are relatively quiet for a high performance tire. The on centre feel is great. The cornering feel is great with nice weight as the front suspension loads. Braking even feels batter, so the tire must be doing more. I'll post some pictures tomorrow when it's light out.

Went for a cruise tonight and got some better pics.

Impressions are even better than before. The ride is smoother than before with better compliance but also more communicative through the wheel. On centre feel, light adjustments, and turn in all have more feel. My G35 had better steering feel (to be fair it handles and drives really well), the Corvette had never felt quite the same, but C6s are generally reviewed as having a lack in steering feel, that's how my car felt so I thought this was normal, and I haven't had enough seat time with opportunity to drive aggressively in other Corvettes to really tell the difference. They said a friend of mine had a 2005 with Toyo R888s that felt great, but it also had a 6.8L LS3 swap with 500rwhp and 4:10 gears and scared the s**t out of me so I drove it pretty normal.

Great review however COST is what compared with the Michelin, I always buy my tires from Costco and get them mounted elsewhere since Costco won't mount tires that are not OEM spec, and I buy non run flats. I have found Costco more than reasonable when compared with others on Costing for tires.
