Just want to share a couple of photos of some of the work that I am attempting while my car is parked for the winter.
Replaced the original shifter with a hurst short shifter for my 96 CE LT4 6 speed.
And I installed a custom shift boot as well.
BEFORE.......with the old boot almost removed.
Here is the finished product with the new shifter boot. I love it. The colors match my car perfectly and the red stitching matches the embroidery on my seats. It's GREAT!
I also, since I had to remove the exhaust to swap out the shifter, changed out my transmission fluid and the fuel filter since I had the exhaust out of the way.
