Hello all!

New 1977 Corvette owner from Windsor, ON!

Purchased the car off my dad a few weeks ago.
Car was completely stock up until I bought it.
53,000 original miles.

Any suggestions would help!

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking car. Hope you have fun with it.

Goooooooooooooood Day D! The car looks great!

Hmmm. Suggestions? Great question and I would have to answer your question with more questions.
What do you want to do with your car? Are you going to just use it to cruise? Do you want to travel in it? Do you only drive it occationally or all the time? Do you want to add some HP?

Welcome to the forum and enjoy!!!

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! I was looking to add a bit of power to it. It is my 3 season car, so it needs to be manageable, I am not looking to smoke the tires at 100 :P. Some extra HP would be nice though!

I was looking at an Edelbrock top end kit, claiming 410 HP & 408 ft-lbs. I have headers and an exhaust, as well as a K&N air filter. I'm willing to do quite a bit of work if need be. I am planning on keeping this car for a long time, so I'm not too worried about resale.

It's a nice canvass to paint a masterpiece on if y ask me :-)!!!

Looks nice stick, but throw some engine bling opinion there and you're on a slippery slope--coilovers and rims would set that puppy on a nice stance. Whatever you do, you can't go wrong, Good luck with the mods, or lack thereof. Oh, and yeah, welcome aboard

good choices, but be aware of hood clearance issues when selecting an intake manifold, the choices are limited on our c3's. i'd advise using straight plug heads rather than angle plug as header clearance can be an issue. have fun with the car. :D

Hi D.

Welcome and nice ride. Had a buddy a thousand years ago who bought a white '73 when I had my green '71 LT1. The white was always very sharp after our ritual Saturday morning shine-em-ups.

Are you looking to bolt on some power?

Nice name Doug :D

When I get my '15 Vette I will cruise to Buckhorn to get some pralines n cream ice cream and watch some boats go through the locks.
