Hi Kids.
I've been following this site for a couple of years and thought it was time I jumped in and introduced myself.
I'm Graham, living in Langley, BC. We've owned our car for 30+ years!
My ride is a black lacquer 1975 Stingray 4-speed coupe, equipped with a few mods..mainly a ZZ4 crate motor. Some other mods for performance..lowered, Holley 650 mech., Moroso parts, headers, flowmasters, 17" wheels equipped with BFG G-Force 255/45-ZR17's.
I've been involved in the Corvette world since I bought the car in my 20's. I'm currently pres of the Riverside Corvette Club here in town. Our club is affiliated with the Canada Council of Corvette Clubs(Western Region), and my wife and I do a lot of travel to other cities competing in concours, rallye and slalom events. But the best time is meeting all the people that have now become long-time friends. We drive the car to all the events having put on 100,000 miles in the time. We have also had the car to California and Vegas a few times. Nothing like open road driving with the tops off and listening to the exhaust.
I just finished rebuilding the motor due to a mechanical malfunction a bit ago. New piston, repaired the heads, rebuilt the carb, bolt it back up and just fired it up again a month ago. It's now getting ready for next season.
I'm currently installing a new rear bumper cover. I'll start a new thread for that install.
I see that a majority of cars on this forum are much newer. C5-C6's...they are great rides, but I would find it hard to part with mine as it is a member of the family now.
I'll try and post some pics on here. :canada:

take care graham

Wow! Beautiful ride Graham. You'll find a great bunch of people on here. Too bad you're so far away. I have dreams of putting a ZZ4 in my '75 some day along with a Tremec TKO 500...(sigh).

Welcome Graham, Nice to have you and the '75 along with us. Quite understandable that you wouldn't part with that black beauty.

An affiliation with a club is much fun. Our internet club here at Canadian Corvette Forum is less formal but no less fun and indeed has many great members whom I've had the pleasure of meeting including a member from your province by the name of Steamer (Rob Roy) in Comox on the island.

He's made the trip twice this past summer including driving his '06 for a show in May. Now that's dedication.:D

I'd love to reciprocate one of these days and take the long drive out there.

Looking forward to hearing more about your club activities and seeing more pics.

Cheers,

Colin (southern Ontario)

Hi Graham.

Welcome indeed. Love the colour and the wheels--very nice ride. Looks out of the ordinary, but not over the top--the way I love to see 'Vettes. Grab a seat, hang-out, and make some friends. I love this place for information and for the people here.

Hope to make it to Breslau one day and meet a whole pile of you guys.

Hi Xlr8r..
thanx for the welcome..
I do get out to Edmonton & Calgary for Corvette events most years.
And my daughter has a horse farm SE of Edmonton so we are up there 2-3 times a year as well.
take care ...graham.

Don't be a stranger--where's the daughters farm? I live in Edmonton, but have my office in Calgary, so I'm back and fourth.

Would love to talk 'Vettes with pretty much anyone.
