Welcome to the forum. The anticipation must be huge and growing every day.

A group of us usually head to Niagara Falls for a couple of runs every summer. Twenty or more cars is not uncommon. Watch for Zeeman28a (Stan) notices, he puts together some great runs. One of the meeting places in fact Oakville and it would be great to have you join up, or we could all drop in for breakfast which would be nice.:D

Again welcome.

Thanks, I will keep an eye out for Zeemans posts. Where is the meeting place in Oakville ?

Tim Horton's at Winston Churchill and QEW (I think, memory is clouded at the moment). There usually are a couple of meeting spots, east end of Toronto, Etobicke then Oakville an another on the Niagara side of Stoney Creek. Stan does a couple in the Huntsville/Haliburton area as well. Lots of fun with some great people.

Hey MC! Welcome to the forum!!!! Glad you found us! Only one more month to go (Fingers crossed)! Woo! Make sure to post pics of that beautiful ride when you get it! We love pics!

Hi MC! No I don't have a GS. When I started meeting other people with Corvettes, there were 5 of us. 2 others had Pewter C5's, one had a silver C5 and TaylorSk8 had his red 75. Well after the third time of walking up to the wrong car to leave, I figured I better do something different with my car so I know which one is mine and put GS stripes on the front fender. :D

Welcome from another quite new member here!

The anticipation would really kill me - be suffering without sleep for months waiting on a new C7!

Thanks NW, it has been a long wait, but it gave me time to Reno the garage, polyurethane floor is the only thing not done yet.

Thanks Riley, that explains it, the stripes look good on the pewter.

I'm not sure which is worse.... waiting for delivery... or taking delivery in October, leaving for hunting camp and then putting the ca away for the winter after only 187 km driving.... lol.....

Ruff its not even broken in yet, hopefully you'll get that first 500 miles on it early in the spring.

That's the plan MCruiser. I'm hoping for the whole 2500 km before the Ponoka meet and greet in May. It's really hard to be a good boy and keep that needle below 4000 rpm. Especially with the M7. But they say that the engine will perform to it's best capability if the break-in procedure is followed so am going to try my best.

Congratulations on your baby...!!

Thoroughly enjoy my Z51....!!!
Managed to bang in 600km before I put her away....including a 100km Dec.24 run....

Cheers
