After 45 years of GM musclecars I have finally moved on to a 2000 C5 Roadster Bowling green with oak top and interior.. LOVE the ice cold air :D
Gas mileage is great !! Sure beats the 10-14 mpg of the old cars.

I've been there, done that with car shows.

My real enjoyment is in the driving with the odd cruise night thrown in. :canada:

Just traded a members old 1 of 16 Pontiac Lemans L78 M20 455 HotRods

no more "hot " cars made the switch last week in Welland 401-403-QEW was brutal with 40C temperatures(with humidity) Thought I would die!! I was so glad to drive Vette home Pictures and many stories to follow 427Carl

Wow, Nice Lemans ....... and we've know Keith around here for some time now and heard about his 'old muscle'. Great job Keith.
The shot of the LeMans at the BA gas station must be from the 70's.

Grew up in the muscle car era and love all the old iron.

Thanks for the welcome.. I love the old iron as well, but the heat kills me and I am spoiled by the comfort of newer Muscle... I have had 12 Camaros the last a 2010 2SSRS... I just decided to give in, and enjoy what I like..(better) if you notice Keiths photos, he has pictures of his C6, at the same BA station.. its a restored building east of Bowmanville

Yes, I've gone back thru Keith's pics and seen the BA station. Very cool and reminiscent.

I hear you on "comfort" -- can't beat the new muscle for sure both for comfort and performance.
Never thought we'd see this kind of 'fun' again.:D

Welcome to the forum Carl. Very nice colour combo on the Vette! I know what you mean about the heat. That's what I like about my '75...working factory air!

Welcome to the forum Carl....you said something about Welland...I lived there for 3 years at the end of Lincoln street beside the Canal, lots of nice people there and a great place...Nice ride you have...:agree:

We're in synch. My last toy was a 1971 Roadrunner, and now I got a C6--I'm also loving the icel cold air. While I miss the old iron, I can tell I'd like to have this car around longer than the other one. Parts were a bitch to find for that car! No air, no power windows, and automatic--I was depressed, because I wanted a pistil-grip shifter.......

the purple on white Mopar colors was cool, but I'm loving the new iron too.

I digress--welcome to the forum!!

Welland ... First trip there for me... bought/traded cars with Ken Leblanc..
car was owned by Ellie Dean of Niagara Falls (member Niagara Corvette Club)
