Big News on them Emails

We're rolling out a few new ways to keep you informed and in control of the amount of emails you get from us.

NEW Daily/Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly/Yearly DIGEST

As some of you know we blast out a weekly digest (or summary) of popular threads on Saturdays. Now we'd like to give you more controls over these email blasts. As of next week we will roll out a new digest feature where you can set the frequency of your CCF Digests. This can be found in your account settings (direct link: https://canadiancorvetteforums.com/account/account-details).

It looks something like this:

As we roll this feature out you will all be by default subscribed to the digest on a weekly basis. You can hit the links in the email to unsubscribe or change the frequency as you see fit. This also means you will get a duplicate digests this week. Starting next week our regular Weekly Saturday broadcast will be cancelled and will be replaced by our new digest.

New Newsletters
Under our Toolbox menu above you'll find our new newsletter subscription options for all current and yet to be announced newsletters. You can subscribe/unsubscribe there. It won't hurt one bit.

We will also add some more advanced interest keyword features shortly so you will be able to subscribed to newsletters with a particular keyword/interest niche.

I'm dropping in some improvements to the digests so will be disabling them temporarily tonight for a few hours and will update this thread with the spanking new features.

OK folks new digests are up and running offering a vastly better digest email layout.

I already uncovered 2 bugs so don't bother reporting them lol...

You can get to the digest via Preferences and scroll down to email options: https://canadiancorvetteforums.com/account/preferences

You can change the frequency of your digest emails there and we will even allow you to pick the forums you'd like to subscribe to for your future digest emails.

All digest emails now offer a much improved layout including a snippet of the thread and a few images from the thread in question.

Take them for a spin why don't you.

Alright the bugs that none of you probably noticed have been resolved and the Digest is good to go and going in fact as we speak. Currently it is set weekly by default though you can change the frequency via your account preferences as well as subscribe or unsubscribe to specific forums of interest.

The email digest now includes a snippet of each thread as well as associated images within certain constraints.

If you have any feedback do let me know.

Thanks.
