I'm just curious as to the symbolism if any, in the new CCF logo.

Good question. It's actually CCF folded into a single symbol upper C (yellow), lower C (red), the F is invisible and resides behind piercing the C. Making the F visible would've made the logo a giant eyesore. It's also modern, indicative of speed, fairly unique and a little aggressive. I wanted to buck the trend with simply slapping on the Covette logo that every other site/forum/group has and create something a little unique that may in future be associated with this forum. Idea is to instantly think CCF when you see the symbol rather than trying to focus on the writing as would've been the case if I had used the Corvette logo and typed out CCF underneath. May change the yellow to white to be more Canadian themed. The yellow was a thematic choice.
If there's open revolt about it I'll consider changing it. If you have a good alternative by all means do let me know.
More importantly it's cryptic and unique enough to be a good conversation starter which I personally like. Rather than have someone instantly identify you as a Corvette guy/gal they might ask you what it is and then you can lay it all out and have a chat.
That's the theory at least. I also like to think that we're more than just another car group, we're more of a community that has bonded around a car and as such we need something unique.

I do like it Nik. Very different and unique as mentioned. Change is good and you have my approval. Keep up all the hard work and giving us Vette Heads a place to hang!

It looks like a Canuck logo on LSD but I like it.
I do appreciate the intention and you worded the description so well. Hell knows I’m all about breaking trail and like your thoughts behind the logo Nik. You can delete the canucks logo if needed or the whole post if you want.
