I just took the C7 route instead (because there's no C8 yet)

Welcome to the forum. Lots of guys that know a great deal about the C3 here. Restoring and upgrade combinations. I see some of them have already pleaded for photos.
Despite owning a boring C7 I love the C3. Such an interesting evolution in that generation as it follows the trends through the years and it simply looks great. Some might say it set the trends.

Look forward to seeing your car. My self and a very experienced, to every nut and bolt, C3 and C7 owner from Edmonton will be hoping to see your car come spring.
