Question New 2021 buyer

Due to the Dean Myers bankruptcy I have had my deposit transferred to another dealer for a 2021 C8. Waiting to place the order. Can someone break down the items that are added between the MSRP of $67k to a Standard price of $73k (dealer fee, etc.) and do I have any hope of negotiating this.

I am going to guess that on top of your base price, you will be facing an admin fee ($495.00) The freight fee is ($2,000) so that would get you to the pre-tax level of around 70.3.
The base price was 67,898.00 + 495+2,000=70,393. So you have either some optional equipment or your dealer has built in an upcharge. Unlikely to be in any negotiating position due to demand as high as it is. But you should question the fact that it is over MSRP if you have not added anything. You need to get your build sheet from the GM Workbench system to see the spec of the car. Maybe you had a colour premium? My Elkheart Lake Blue was an added $995 for that paint.

Thanks ABC! I looked at it again and realized I had selected the 2LT package! The colour, freight, AC and options are shown separately ( but sticking with 2LT!). Thanks again.
