Hi I have a 2017 grand sport LT1. It's been about 6 months since I took it off the road for winter. I tried to start it today but the battery was low. It wouldn't turn over. Than the battery completely died and locked me inside (for a second) until I pulled the release next to the driver's side seat. I closed the door and it locked me out. I can't get into the car now. the key fobs don't open the doors or the truck. It's like the car is on lock down. Are there any tricks to opening the car? Do I need new batteries in my key fobs? Nothing is working. Literally.

Hello and Welcome.
Sorry I took so long to find this thread/question.

Did you remote lock your car over the Winter?
(this would drain the battery in 3-4 weeks if not on a maintainer)

Was it in Cold Storage or Warm Storage?
(if not maintained and battery drains of power there is risk of freezing if not in heated storage)

Did you have a battery maintainer connected?
(if you do not own one purchase a maintainer - not charger - for future storage that plugs into the back hatch outlet)
(there are many threads on this Forum in regard to this)

I had key fob problems with 3 C7s this year … all leading
to key fob battery replacements ...

I would first replace the remote battery.
I ran into this problem this year and did a thread on it.
Here is the thread …

Then reply with an update with answers to the questions above.
Hope you have quick resolve to this issue.

in the meantime, feel free to add some into-photos of your C7
We like photos.
