Nice interview on Fox this morning with Stewart Friesen, a long time DIRT Modified driver from Niagara Falls, Canada and his wife Jessica Friesen (nee Zemken) who has raced just about anything fast on pavement and dirt. Both are running in the NASCAR Truck race tonight at Bristol.

This is Jessica from her Oswego and International Supermodified Association days.

Just love the supers. Ran them years ago in Ontario and Oswego, NY. Good luck this weekend!

I don’t believe cars(?) with windshields are usually on the dirt tracks.
Helmut tear-offs are usually the order of the day.

murray. I knew there was a husband/wife pair of truck racers but did not realize they were Canucks.

I can’t wait to see the CUP drivers on the dirt. This should be interesting or a bust!
Probably too many vehicles on a dirt track at one time. And maybe too many windshields!
BUT. I also look forward to Clint & Jeff’s commentary.

Since today’s race was cancelled I did enjoy watching Jeff Gordon’s REFUSE TO LOSE documentary and Jeff/Dale Sr’s RIVALRY documentary.. they were both well done shows.

I am looking forward to “turn right to go left” racing tomorrow.
The two lap tease today had me smiling and laughing at the insanity.
A day before the drivers were apparently complaining about too much dust.
This fun is a well deserved spectator treat. It’s been a while I must say 😂

A rained-out Sunday too & both trucks & cars running today (on the Monday).
M Truex Jr wins trucks ... failed on the smokin' burnout on dirt though ...
