Great looking car to be sure. The pricing for the convertible was $71,915 compared to a base convertible at $52,550. According to the Corvette Black Book, the yellow GT1 were VIN 1G1YG26E2953000001 thru 1G1YG26E2953000077 and the Black GT1 were VIN 1G1YG26E995400001 thru 1G1YG26W195400048 6th digit is 2 for coupe, Z06 and ZR1. Digit 3 is for convertible. 8th Digit is W for LS3. E is for LS7. R is For LS9 To honor the Corvette C6R racer, a GT1 Championship Edition was offered. Exteriors were yellow or black to match the CR6 livery. Unique ebony leather wrapped interiors had yellow stitching with GT1 and Jake logos. Sales of 125 were 53 coupes, 17 convertibles and 55 Z06. The book does not however stipulate how many were black or yellow in either coupe, convertible or Z06, nor does it differentiate the number between manual or automatic for the coupe or convertible. It appears by the VIN numbers, that 48 were black, and 77 were yellow, which means that coupe, and Z06 had 60 produced in yellow. I would think that a yellow Z06 would be the rarest yellow produced, as most Z06 are Black.
