I'm not liking the huge rake hanging out of the back. The rest of the car in the photo looks good, even the rear spoiler. A 4.2 L engine will reduce some weight that the turbos and flat crank will add. A titanium exhaust would be nice. I'm thinking price wise around $95,000 to start. I think GM would want to keep the base model under $100,000.

Didn't earlier rumours have the Z06 at 800HP?

Will a turbo charged 650HP 4.2L V8 flat plane with paddles be more fun than a 650HP C7 Super Charged 6.2L with manual transmission?
imo.....not likely......but 8500? 9000? rpm's might be fun.

WTF is that ungodly looking arena rake doing hanging off the back of that car. We could groom the track for the chuck’s at Stampede with that thing....


It is all about aerodynamics. I personally don't like the look either but these things have been one of the most popular C7 add ons the last couple of years.

I agree. Funny they are flip flopping on details. I would imagine it could be a N/A screamer to get the weight down and return the Z06 to it's track focused history. Either way, it will be awesome.
