Hello Elton,
Followed a few friends last year with sticky tires that eventually released little nuisances. All a part of cruising enjoyment. Is there a product that may help with hiding clear coat nicks a bit better? Some days they really reflect with the darker color. Thank you.

I'm no expert with that stuff, but it looks more than just a skuff mark, I would try a very fine MeQuiers # 1 or 2 fine cut cleaner and see if it will rubb out , using a buffer is best but by hand it will work too. They make it up to #10 for more abrassive action if needed, but if used say a # 8 then finish off with a 1 or 2. hopefully someone here knows what is best. I did my 49 new paint with 4 then finished with #2 and it is like glass. Had a flaw in the Crossfire I wet sanded the clear then used #2 and turned out very nice.

They look like nicks through the paint Spence if those little white nicks are what you are referring to. My old quick trick for nicks in the paint is a fine point permanent marker. Look for one close to your colour and just dab it in the nick... At the very least it helps hide it. My more permanent fix involves actual colour match paint and a fine-line chip repair paint tool. Bought mine at Alberta Art Supplies in Red Deer but Amazon has them as well.

Derek is actually right Spence. Once the paint is nicked it's a known fact that body structure strength has been compromised ...replacement is the only safe option..... just sayin.... :angelic:

SN-III....I think some days you must get up and wonder whom your friends really are....lol
Having said that, those nicks must drive you nuts.

I am working hard to not let these bother me at all. My driving pleasure is huge.
If there is a known quick remedy to try, I am good to give it a go.
… other than that …
finding the option suggested above might be far more stressful :WillyNilly:
