Ok I gotta know.
How many of us are Vets with a Vette? lol
Post your experience and your car.

Master Seaman (ret.)
20 years 8 months Navy. Many many operational deployments.

My car. 1971 LT1

We are the ones with the Corvette but have a son and son-in-law who have served in Bosnia, Kosovo, Kabul and Kandahar. Anyone who has served in Kandahar has been to hell and back and it shows. They are based in Petawawa and Kingston. I'll be having each of them driving the car this summer.

US army .I have a lot of respect for the professionalism of the Canadian army .

We are industrial commercial contractors and all of our employees are disabled or hard to place veterans . Company policy "we take em as they come "no questions asked .

Presently have an 08 vert FOR SALE :D $30,000 US

steve, i take my hat off to you and your company. that is a policy that is beyond noble. it makes me proud to call you a friend. my father was fired from the toronto transit commission in 1960 due to war related medical issues and veterans affairs dismissed his case. 50 years later, long after his death, veterans started giving aid to my mother. it is wonderful that you are stepping up and doing what the government should be responsible for.

35 years in the Canadian military, retired 18 months ago as RSM (CWO)... spent some time in Kabul/Kandahar and places in between.

Hi Bluenozer.
My Girlfriend and I are both Vets. She spent some time in Borden, but her home base was Shilo. She was a medic. I don't suppose the name Farrell rings a bell?

I have met a few Farrells. Served quite a few years with a Tony Farrell who is now retired and living in Corner Brook. Your girl friend deploy to the Sand Box at all ? If so she could very well have met me or one of my two boys.

No not the sand box. She was in Bosnia for that rigamaroll.
You may have crossed paths at some point. But if you had anything to do with her in the slightest you would remember her. She has that kind of personality. Unforgetable... :D
