LT1 OWNERS QUESTION

Anyone can answer that as even with the rear camera you can switch the mirror to a “regular mirror”. The review is non existent at best. It’s horrible. Even with the mirror camera there is a massive blind spot behind the passenger side. If you’re moving lanes you have to take your time and rely on the traffic alerts in your right side exterior mirror. I’ll say it’s the worst rear and side visibility car I’ve ever driven. But I love it oh so much 😉

1LT has traffic alert?

Don’t think 1LT has any of it nope. My point was visibility is poor in the best of time’s with all the gadgets. You can’t see frig all on that right side blind spot. But again I didn’t buy it because it was a fishbowl. I bought it cuz it’s an awesome car 😎 😉

Yeah I hear you. I went 1LT also. I basically side mirror drive now, shouldn't be an issue for me if and when I get it...

l went as far as duck taping the rear view mirrors on my other rides so l can get a handle on what it will be like in my LT1 . On thing that works is to accelerate a bit when making a lane change .

It's a mid-engine car. There's a LOT of metal between the driver and the back of the car. Visibility is going to be garbage and there isn't anything that can be done about it unless someone develops transparent metal. Anyone who has sat in any mid-engine car can attest to this.

Set up the wing mirrors correctly and the blind spot will be minimized. There's a post on how to do it properly here:
