So sorry for your loss....My Father passed away in 2014 at 86....I am the youngest of six kids and I was going through some very difficult times in my marriage...so when my Father passed I felt incredibly alone.
These losses give us sadness....make us forge new bonds and ties with our family members and our friends.
In the end they make us more well rounded, stronger individuals who are equipped to be there for others....to listen...to offer comfort when they go through the same loss.
Thanks for starting this post.
Here is my Dad and I at Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin.
Jenny. Your words exemplify the peace we can achieve in coming to terms with the more difficult things that have or will affect us throughout our lives. Thank you and everyone for posting as the condolences and stories that have been and will be shared here, and in other venues, reinforce that we are never really alone.
