Looking for mechanic in Lower Mainland

Hi,

Tranny grinds when upshifting from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 only. Also tough to put into first when stopping at a light. Clutch pedal feels firm but engages a bit above the middle of the stroke. If I double (or triple) pump the peddle, the grind goes away for that shift. Worse when cold. Improves a bit when warmed up.

Help?! Only 18,000 miles on a 2008.

Need a local mechanic that doesn't rip you off eg. the dealers! Know of anyone?

A local tranny shop should be able to mend your Corvette.

Low clutch fluid level perhaps??????

my son was having problems with his as well. he just replaced the clutch fluid and all was good again. apparently they need a regular flush.

Thanks for the help all. Classic helped me out (thanks for the lead Graham). They have been flushing the clutch master regularly. It helps for awhile but then seems to return however, the more times they flush it, the better it seems to get so maybe it was just dirty/moisture saturated fluid. The car was stored for several years.
