Thinking of doing long tube headers on my car. Probably get Davenport to do it. Any thoughts out there as to what i should or shouldn't do?

Davenport has a good rep Doug. I'm guessing you will get some tips from the members as well which is good. Take those tips to Davenport and get their feel for what you should do would be my recomendation.

Well, let me just start by saying the headers are good. They'll help the supercharger get rid of all the extra air. And while you're supercharging it, you'll need a new clutch, wider wheels and tires, transmission brace, cat back exhaust, and......what else can I add.
But in more seriousness, the only other item I would actually look at adding would be some sort of cold air intake, and if you're taking your car to Davenport, ask which they recommend. Headers are an awesome addition to the C7's!

If you get long tube headers you might need a tune, either one of those would probably void the warranty. So you might want to check with your dealer. Unless you don't care about warranty.
Doug i assume upu have done the headers what other things did you do cold air tune etc and was it worth it in your opinion
Asking because i got a sweet deal on some used lg long tubes with hi flow cats an debating whthe to sell them or install and tune

Not sure if it was worth it but I thinks so. Sounds awesome now !!!
