I'm looking for a 1000 RWHP supercharged or twin turbo Z06. I haven't have much luck finding what i want so I'm going to do the build process.

Quick run down will be 1000-1100 RWHP driver, Procharger F1R or F1X preferred but will look into turbo options. Built LSX block, driveline etc.

My question is.... In Alberta or Canada where can I find someone that does lots of LS Corvettes that can do this from start to finish? Do I have to go state side? I want something reliable and a fairly trouble free build.

I've build a few cars and trucks and haven't had the greatest experiences.

Thanks

Talk to Manny at Dasilva Motorsports. His tuner, Arun is pushing that in his DD. Be prepared, it's a ton of work...and money.

Thanks for the reply!

That's about the same distance to most of the pros in the US. Surely there is something closer to me.

A business owner next door to my business has a orange twin turbo 2007 or 2008 Z06.

He had it for sale last year but is driving it this spring... I could ask him if he wants to sell it.

Black preferred exterior but ask him as I will consider orange. If its the right set-up I may be interested. Thanks!

If you have any concerns with Manny, you should talk to Garry (VelocityYellowRules!) about his experience with Manny as he has had to deal with the same distance issue as he lives in Peace River.

If you end up purchasing that orange rocket, let us know, we'd LOVE to see it!!!! I couldn't imagine 1000 rwhp!!!! Do you have a lot of experience with high hp cars? What are some of the builds you have done in the past? Best of luck with the search or build!!!!

Manny gets the nod -- He's built everything including many high hp rides.
You won't go wrong with Dasilva Motorsports.

1000 rwhp out of a YSi is probably the best route. The blower takes less to drive and is super effecient.

I have come out with a custom 10 rib Dampner in conjunction with IW that spins the YSi to get the most. This setup is only available through Dasilva/CCP.

F1R's are capable of the same power levels but put out a tonne more heat.

The F1X has been shining well on the dyno-but I have to see it perform at the track-dyno's are easy to make power-track is whole other animal.

IMHO-F1R's and F1X's are best suited with cogs-but I have to see one work without snapping belts on a regular basis-and trust me-you won't hear about the failure rates on the other boards. But I do because people call and ask what can be done to fix it-cog and a six speed just don't mix well.

My own personal car is getting overhauled and should have dyno numbers real soon. With the new lockup converter we should finally be able to dyno the car and I am pretty confident it will make 1000+ rwhp easily-out of just a little 364.

In fact one of our cams was put to the test in a little 347-forged bottom end with stock 243's with the stock 75mm TB and LS6 intake.

And this is without the "big boost" pulley combo.

The team at Dasilva is capable of what your looking. I'm the tuner there and my own personal C5 still holds the record for the quickest and fastest "true" street car. Don't be fooled by other peoples claims-but this car has AC-it's full interior-full exhaust, everything works and functions just like stock and weighs over 3600lbs with me in it.

It was first C5 street car to break 160 mph-and back it up-all through a A4-not a powerglide or a TH400-a fully electronic A4.

Were going to bump this record up a notch this season with Team at Dasilva's.

I won't lie-it's expensive-very expensive-to do it right. But in the wrong hands-it's even more expensive.

Give Manny call.

Thanks I will call you tomorrow.

It was a pleasure to talk to you earlier this week . We are working hard compiling the parts list and subsequent quote for this build .

Arun and I should have it complete this week and will be touch .

Manny
