Okay, there is already a thread for diecast cars and although I've posted some of my Lego stuff over there, I did promise a long time ago that I would start a new thread about Lego stuff that we build as adults, so here it is.

I'll start with some of the car-related stuff, after all, this is a car forum.....

My wife found this C7 Corvette Stingray Lego and gave it to me for Christmas a couple of years ago. It's a simple little set, but fun nevertheless.

This is a special Mega Blocks set (which is owned by Lego) of Hot Wheels cars. I have a few of these. This is Twin Mill, which is based on one of the original cars released by Hot Wheels in 1967.

This is another Mega Blocks Hot Wheels set. This is Bone Shaker. It is one of the most popular and famous Hot Wheels castings of all time, but it is not actually all that old. It was originally released in 2006.

Well who would have guessed my other big hobby would make its way here! I a m a huge Lego enthusiast. There is Lego spattered around my house as decoration and I have models stored everywhere even my kids rooms. About 11-12 years ago I built this:

Originally had full air ride suspension, air operated headlights, 4 speed gearbox, Lego motors drive, opening hood and doors, removeable t-tops, and much more! I did strip it down over the years for the useful parts but the shell is still in tacked and sits above the fireplace downstairs. I did cheat and use non Lego wheels due to the fact that Lego made nothing even close to big enough at the time. Measures in at about 36" long.

Also shows a little MOC corvette beside it.

These pics are from about 10 years ago. I will see if I can find one of it more recent.

Whooo Lego!

I have been enjoying LEGO since the 1960's and
for just over a decade now with my Daughter.
... as posted on the thread "Build your own ZR1 ...
Lego Technics has been great for bonding
and a lot of fun learning while assembling the working parts.

Dad Pays and Daughter Plays ... never stops building all the different options and then programs them for movement ... the LEGO EV-3. Although expensive to buy it is an absolute Robotics Genius “toy” that kids love and I marvel at seeing her work with. Here is her R2D2 build that chases our cats 🙀🙀😂👍🏻
