Hi Colin, just wondering if you greased that little nipple on the jack as soon as you got it home, or can it wait awhile? Instructions are not clear about that. Am actually reluctant to go get an attachment for my grease gun that I can't find anyway since we moved over a year ago.
No I didn't Al .. I'm thinking it's should be fine for at least a season without having to add any.
Someone closeby should have a gun who wouldn't mind giving it a squirt.
Barring that a familiar garage shouldn't mind lending you a gun for a short time.
I've used mine quite often and really like it. It's smooth operating and very effective easy in raising my cars. An excellent low profile jack.

Thanks Colin, but will eventually have to buy a new grease gun, as the thought of going through all the totes in the barn is something I'd rather avoid. Too much else to do around here that still has to come first.

Thanks Al -- up to now I'd only subscribed to their hard copy. An online subscription would be much more convenient for shopping for sure.
The trouble is my inbox is getting so crowded these days that I spend much more time keeping it clean of garbage than I used to.

Colin, I have a wife who won't read her emails etc. So to clear my in box I just burn it all to a DVD. Then I label, and get probably a years worth onto one disk. So if she wants to see what's been sent she has to read from dvd's............

Anyone need a cabinet to sand blast or glass bead? I bought one of these many years ago and it has had a lot of use. You do need a decent size compressor and a big old shop vac to remove the dust. story of my life keith !!! i just bought the benchtop unit from tsc last month for $99. another 100 bucks could have got me that freestanding princess unit. oh well, my compressor probably doesn't have enough oomph anyway and floorspace is at a premium. Similar threads
