Key Fob programing

I have purchased two additional key fobs for my C5. I have gone by the book with the in car programing of the remote FOBS. The original two program with no problem.Trying to program the additional FOBS do not work. The programing times out. I press and hold the two buttons and no response. The message states hold lock and unlock 3rd fob. I have checked the compatibility of the new FOBS which are correct. changed the batteries.New batteries put in. still will not program.

Try reprogramming and do one of the new ones second in order … this will answer the compatibility question and leave no doubt.
If the corvette will only allow the user to program two only, it may likely need a corvette dealer to do more than two (for some reason).
I tried to reprogram 2 fobs for a C7 and ended up throwing in the towel and just let the dealer do it. I was able to program the existing fob but it would not do the new one.
