Kananaskis in the movies,again.

Just watching Liam Neeson's newest big screen offering, Cold Pursuit that was filmed in various locations out in K Country last winter. Over the years,the long since closed Fortress Mountain ski resort has been used for lots of movie scenes.

5 mins into it we see 2 CGI altered shots. Both pics show Hwy 40 with stuff that isn’t there in real life,,,like an airport where the golf course is. A small town just past the Fortress Junction gas station. And what looks like a small hotel where there’s a rocky outcrop. Lol. More pics to come when I see areas I recognize.

Here’s a daytime shot of “Kehoe Colorado” with Hwy 40 running down the middle. I see a railroad too. Lol. I certainly hope this isn’t the future of K Country. Looks like a pretty big resort hotel below the ice Axe tip.
