just refinished factory exhaust manifolds

I think these never looked better. I sandblasted them, then powder coated. I'll port them a little also then back on the car they go. Cheers

Nice Job!!!!!! Those look awesome! What kind of powder coat did you use? Is it heat resistant?
 
Thanks! I used ceramic overkill for 2,000 degrees, different color for the heat shields. I still need to bake it on to cure but before I do that I'm gonna mount on milling machine to machine off at least 1/8" per side of the weld to open the port up a little. Also, those tubes that extend into the header got to go. You can see the restriction in the pic.

Finally got around to grinding off the inside portion of the air tube, with some minor porting of the welds. Perfectly legal mod, just a little bit better flow. Could of taken more of the weld off but didn't want to risk weakening it.

Looks fantastic. Always have been a big fan of engines looking as good as the outside body. What will you use to bake it on.
 
I baked in oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Sounds like a cooking recipe lol.
