Just picked up 6 jugs of Penzoil Platiinum at Walmart

$19.88 for 4.4L jugs. I was really getting low so I thought I would pick some up. They also had the new Castrol Extreme there at $41 per jug. Has anyone tried this? I figured Patman would eventually comment on it.

I have stuck with the Mobil 1 but would not hesitate to swap to the Penzoil if people have had good experience with it and found it is just as good, if not a better oil.

Watch canadian Tire for deals on Mobil 1,a few times this year you can get the 4.4l jug plus a 1 litre bottle for $33.

My first oil change when I got my C6 was with Penzoil Platinum and I have been using it since. Patman SWEARS by it and has had it tested at a lab over the Mobil 1. Penzoil outdid the Mobil ! for quality after the same mileage as well as retained viscosity. It broke down far less.

you guys got it all wrong! i have friend that works at GM. he happend to...."stumble"? upon 14L of mobil 1. cost to me case of beer and helpinh him with his low VW
