A great pictorial. That generation of drivers were true pioneers of the sport. The tremendous physical tole those races would take on the drivers; and to drive that fast without any real safety equipment would take nerves of steel. My first car was a 1966 Corvair Monza; I had heard of the Fitch Sprints before but never made the connections to the man until now. Thanks again for a great article.

Greg.
