Incredible how quickly the jet car caught and passed the Corvette. That is a great video.

I have seen the jets race a few times, once at St. Thomas Dragway and another time at Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga). A young lady, I think she was only 18 or 19 was driving one and unfortunately lost her life when the car when over the guardrail. Top Fuel Funny cars and dragsters and many other classes go so quickly that when a problem occurs there is so little time to react. Incredible machines. Brave drivers.
