I’m getting the cold air intake installed Friday. I actually haven’t seen it till now. But the parts guys said it looks “cool” so I ordered it.
They told me 9 or 10 HP... That’s not why I got it but I’ll take it.
The Jake decal looks great on your car. Matches up really well. My hood has the carbon fibre insert so no Jake for me.

Got my GM cold air intake installed today.
Didn’t notice any impact driving home in rush hour traffic. Don’t expect any noticeable difference anyway. If so a bonus but I do like the look.
I was thinking carbon fibre but I don’t feel like cleaning it all the time.

Sounds the same in town. Today if I have time I’m going to give it a highway test.
No tune required so I not expecting anything very noticeable in sound or performance. Mike says he netted a mileage increase so that’s a bonus if I get that. Not that I pay much attention to mileage as with this car driving conservative it seems to get good mileage; but if you put your foot into it... I just inhales fuel. On cruises I’m always looking for a gas station 3/4 through the day while the Ray pilots are sitting happily at 1/2.

Fuel economy overrated, fill, empty, repeat
. After owning and driving old school, blown big blocks the new car amazes me. Old habit? Glancing at the temp gauge every 5 minutes as cooling was always an issue with the big hp blower cars. So nice to see the gauge dead center all the time. Yes it gulps the gas when playing around but small price to pay for that much fun!

It wasn’t something I jumped up and down over but there was a little improvement. I’m curious as to how I’ll do with the alignment fixed up for the CL drive. Not expecting a whole lot better but we’ll see I guess.
