I've been busy...3 weeks and 3200 kms!

I finally took deliver (15 month wait) of my 2015 Corvette Z06 3LZ A8 convertible on July 2 and WOW!! What a machine!! I can't stop driving it! This car has impressed me right from the first mile. I accidentally put it in track mode, in rush hour traffic, with less than 20kms on it and crapped my pants! Their might have been others in my close proximity!!

Congrats and we are similar...month and a half and I am over 4K as well....just warming her up for August though when our run puts on about 14K more.

Thanks! We were hoping for a road trip (San Francisco) next month too but we are unable to do so. Sickness in the family. So this year will only be day trips but every mile is a good mile!!

Must say you couldn't have picked a better colour combination!!! I thought I was racking up the km's, I'm at 2500 and have had it for 4 weeks and driving it every chance i get. Got a couple of trips coming up over the next view weeks that will add to the total. I still can't believe the feeling I get when driving this car, just something about it that I can't explain! Has anyone priced out rear tires.... think I might need some by the end of the season... LOL

Thanks and safe travels in the up coming weeks! I know the feeling that your talking about! So much fun! Rear tires in Alberta are around $800/piece.

WOW, this is exactly the car I would get if I did get one....... still deciding on the A8 or stick....

congrats and enjoy.... after 3 years the power still scares me........ you will NOT get bored of the car.

If you are only wearing out the rear tires you are doing it wrong! My fronts look worse than the rears which are standing up quite well. My favorite pastime is 4th gear, 100km/hr and dip in the throttle, then look in the mirror! =========================== Those that have one will understand. If you have a chance to get down to Calgary this weekend there is a corvette convention at the Grey Eagle Casino. We will be running the slalom at a private airstrip in Cayley all day Sunday followed by a banquet. Check out the Corvettes unlimited site for details.
