Hey....my name is Cracker and I'm kinda new to the forum. Have a problem with the interior lights staying on in my 1980. Been doing some elimination work on the electricial. Could it be the headlight switch which is causing the curiously lights to remain on even when the switch is turned to the off position?

Hey....so I removed the relay and the interior lights still remain on without shutting off. Seeing that turning the headlight switch counter clockwise causes the lighting to stay on, is it possiable the problem is in this switch?

Hey...figured out the interior lighting issue, it was the relay. What was throwing me off was the fact that I had removed the bulbs and was using a test light to diagnose the problem. I now know that the circuit is hot constantly and it's the ground that turns the lights on or off. Jumped the white wires in the relay plug and Bob's your uncle, fixed. Thanks for the info.
