I have a client who is the Executor of her Step Mom’s estate in Nova Scotia.
She told me “You like Corvette’s, there’s a 70’s one in the estate”
I said “Not interested” as I didn't like what GM did with the de-tuning of later C3's and preferred the chrome bumpers.
Also, it is yellow - not my thing.
Then she sends me a photo (Attached). It’s a 72…OK interested now!
Zoom in and see what you notice…454 on the hood - Big Block!
Ok I’m interested. According to GM’S Black book of numbers, only 3913 big blocks were made. Add Sunflower yellow, and only 1543 were made!
It gets better - 4000 original miles!
It gets even better – I asked why the Montreal Canadian sticker. She said “it was a gift to a Montreal Canadian player. His name is somewhere on the car and I think there’s documents – Guy LaFleur or something!”
We have to wait until November 15th for will to be done probate. Then, iIm having it shipped to my shop and go through it.
She just wants it sold.
Can anyone assist with what the value might be - ignore the owned by a Montreal player as that is somewhat an unknown value.
