Since they still call it a Stingray/Z06, can it be assumed that the C7 may still be in production for the 2020 model year?

Sorry, we can make all the assumptions we want, but ours are irrelevant — for only the General’s determinations will count.

Based on some of the other Chevy dates, it looks like Stingray/Z06 will be later in the year if at all in 2019.
But yes much can be read into the information based on what a person is hoping for in regard to what generation of car and what is going to available.

A Chevy salesman in Toronto informed me the C8 will not come out till 2020, if he knows what he is talking about or not is up in the air?

Maybe a certain salesperson is saying that the C8 will not be out until the 2020 calendar year because he/she has some C7’s they wish to sell. I know of three individuals who this past two weeks decided not to wait for the ME, instead bought a C7. Good for them, in lots of ways. They all got great cars, got great deals, and as we know, those deals will not be had at the beginning of the ME1 generation.
