Hi Guys- Looking to upgrade the carpet in my '79 L82, and have been reading about the heat shield materials you can get to install under the carpets. Anyone have experience with this? Tips and tricks? As always- appreciate your voluminous knowledge!

Hey Michael -- I'm sure there are many who have done this but Manny(Nasty98) has done this b4 and he'll know what to use.

I know from my experience that ceramic coating the exhaust also helps with this issue.
