1. When a link is inserted in a message it automatically creates it as a URL. Sometimes it displays "Site Management". Can this be changed to something else more appropriate?

2. Is there a way to not make it a link automatically. Sometimes I want to show the actual URL without it going to the site or displaying "site management". I got around it by using the "code" option, but something like a !\ in front of it to make it show as just the url?

Thanks Nik

Hey @Murray20c8 ,

When you insert a link it'll attempt to unfurl it automatically and pull the title, excerpt etc.

This is the default format if you just paste a link in a message:

If you use insert link using the editor and don't put a title, it'll add URL to the title automagically if it finds one. I just made that change btw :)

You can optionally edit the link after you insert it or insert it with BBCode and use the unfurl="false" option as per below then it just puts a link in without the drama as per below.

Code:
[URL unfurl="false"]https://canadiancorvetteforums.com/threads/inserted-links-problem-suggestion.73142/[/URL]
