Hello all. My new z51 showed up a few weeks ago, and been having a blast ever since.
I'm not sure how many nice days are left to ride so now I'm looking for advice on covers.
Should I order 1 from the dealership or are there any company's out there that make a better or comparable cover for my new toy . Any suggestions would be appreciated, thx.

Ordered mine on line from California Car Covers. I cannot recall the model but it is very soft inside. Fits my C5Z like a glove and as I recall was not all that expensive. It has held up very well. Take it to the Laundromat once a year to wash it. Do not use fabric softener on it.

Good luck with your search.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new car. Lots of great members in the B.C. area.

thx for the reply, ill look up that site and check them out. I'm glad my 2015 order was cancelled and they ordered me a 2016 love it and all the changes

Welcome James and congrats on the new ride. I had a CDN Tire Sparco cover on my C6 and was notably impressed with the quality and baby soft interior for a relatively inexpensive ($139.00 when on sale) cover. And as wonders never cease, it fits my C7 like a glove as well. Unfortunately it matches the C6 Victory red much better than the Daytona sunset but I can live with that.... It's an indoor cover if that's what you're looking for...and I wash it in the regular laundry washing machine.... seems to do fine....

Eric, there is a story here I can tell. Animal pelts, mics, trumpets, music stands and a whole load of guitars. Never mind the cover just what goes on here??:Confused5:

hahaha.... Well Murray.... That is my man cave.... I'm a bit of an antique collector... mostly smalls; My buddy and I have a bit of a spare time 'picker' business buying and selling collectables to dealers. I was raised in a very musical family and picked up music when I was about 7 or so. The only instrument out of the bunch I'm close to proficient with is the guitar. Played in a band when I was younger but I only play campfire and jams now but still love collecting guitars as well... or did you notice... lol... Every time one shows up on the wall, Brenda asks me how many I can play at once... The trumpet is actually half of a trombone.... and even if it was all there I wouldn't have a hope in hell of playing it.... I keep it for when I get older and have trouble hearing. I figure I can hold that small end up to my ear and point the bell end towards the talkers.

I'm also a hunter (I have more firearms than guitars) and fisherman but that doesn't explain the pelt on the wall. That was an estate sale find that the owner said the first person who could identify the animal could have it.....

My man cave is pretty messy right now... It gets that way in the summer when I have other priorities and gets cleaned up in the winter when it's 800 degrees below zero out here.... lol...

Pretty much most of the story...... except leaving the pelt question out there for your educated guess.... lol....

Just shop around on the web. There are many different covers, cost $150 +++. I ordered my from CCC and it has the mirror pockets and fits nicely.

Thx for the help guys. think I may order from my dealer,, probably pay the same amount by the time I pay shipping and duty , and I do like the looks of the stingray logo cover. Now to decide if I get the black or a color matched 1 lol. Here is a pic of my ride.. glad I got it early even if I only got a few rides in her before she gets put away for winter :(

James that is one very good looking Stingray. I don't think you should cover it at all, looks too good to hide it away.

Nice.

Sweet James. Love the colour too. Mucho congrats. I can relate to the 'few rides'. 180 km on mine and she's in bed.

:Woohoo:
I'm glad I ordered long beach instead of night race blue, even tho never could find good pic of the color except of the z06 at the NCM bash . only have 593 km on her so guess ill finish break in next year... unless the sun comes out in the next few days haha

lol...I hope you]re right about the sun but I think where you are you have a better chance of some cruising weather than I do... And although I like the blue too, yours looks great...

:Cheers2:So now that I've had some time to think rruuff, my guess is kangaroo pelt hanging on your wall. As for my cover thinking stingray logo cover in black is what I have decided , cheers to all that had suggestions

Woohoooo ! Good call James. You are correct. Unfortunately no grand prize.... but the satisfaction you can take knowing you were the only correct guess should be huge... ok... so maybe you were also the only guess ... but good going anyway... you'd be surprised how many people have come into my cave and thought it was a cougar.....

Eric
