I'm going to Las Vegas in March

If you are there between the 6 - 11th There is con expo on. A huge construction equipment show that takes over all the convention centers. My company ( and me ) have a booth there this year. There is a lot to take in if your into that kind of stuff.

Other than that I have only been once before and it was for work so I couldn't get to wild.

If it was me, and I was there for March 3-5, I'd drive an hour North West to Spring Mountain and do the Level 1 Corvette driving course. It's not cheap but I did the 2 day C7 owner course and I'm planning on going back for my next level. If you really want to know how to get the most out of your Corvette on the track, this is the place to go.

Is that where the bunny ranch is?

Obviously your not taking the wife and children to Vegas with you Nelson!

Yes I'm taking the wife and kids I was just trying to sound like a big man.

Actually going to the Grand Canyon, circus circus ride the rides and New York New York big roller coaster and the Paris brunch buffet. That kind of stuff. Oh and driving down
Route 66 in the rented minivan and staying in the wigwam motel one night. Petrified forest is another stop. Hope to go see a car show and go check out counts customs.

Sounds like a very good trip! There's so much to see in Vegas, it's hard to pin down what to do, however, it sounds like you have a great agenda figured out.

Nelson,

This is where the Chicken Ranch is and a few other not as famous ones.

We were at Spring Mountain for our wedding anniversary and the wife jokingly says well maybe I could drop you off and not have to perform this anniversary.

But besides Spring Mountain and the Brothels, there isn't much in Parhump.

Nelson, if you are taking the kids and want to show them someplace very unique in the desert I would suggest The China Date Ranch China Ranch Dates, Inc.. If you are driving to Parhump you would make a left turn off the highway and follow the road for what seems like forever but really it is not.

The ranch is an incredible place in the middle of the desert, fascinating history to it as well. The kids would enjoy seeing, we certainly did.

Another thing if you watch CSI LV you will know already that only bad crap happens in Parhump!

Hope you have fun. Travel safe.

If your going to the Grand Canyon up by Flagstaff, the Confederate Airforce has an Airplane Museum just north/west of Flagstaff on the way to the Grand Canyon that is worth seeing.
Have a good trip and win big...:canada:

Anything I should check out? Besides strippers, is there any corvette stuff to check out?
Hey Nelson! Un-Corvette but still speed related... We toured the Shelby Museum with a group of friends last year and everyone thought it was great. I loved it - especially all the vintage cobras. There's also a big Shelby event in Vegas this month - Shelby Event

Have a terrific time!

Who is more excited Nelson, you or the kids? Hope you have a great time.

Nelson, in Parhump you may visit the Springmountain motorsport track and facilities, (check first) if they allow visitors, you will see bundles of corvettes and the track they use for corvette driving courses. In the old LV, on Freemont street you can see the biggest neon sign in the world, at night is a little crazy, music and a tyrolean traverse over the croud.

Ok so.... I do Vegas every year maybe twice. If you go to Spring Mountain, watch your speed on the way up because there is very active enforcement at times. It is only 35 minutes during an ideal drive...but not the most scenic.

Las Vegas itself. Fremont Street is a must, even with the kids. It is a great area and you can take a pic with a million bucks while there... free. Bands are free and they are always playing and great there. I haven't asked how old your children are but... things such as the Stratosphere jump (I have done it a few times), Fremont Zip Lines, as well as tracking high end cars at Dreamcars in Vegas is a must. I am sure your kids would LOVE to see you do a few laps in a Maserati for under $200. Food... I have done tons of restaurants there but, for kids, would recommend a trip to Margaritaville as it is a blast for kids and teens. If you like unusual places, there are tons of restaurants like Fatburger and whatnot along the strip. Which brings me to the strip.... make sure you take a day or night to walk up and down the strip. It has been cleaned up since years passed and you wont find hooker cards littered about the sidewalk or people pushing them on you anymore. The strip is an amazing place to just stroll, or to walk into every high end resort and check out their scenery. Here is an example of things you will run in to... absolutely incredible sights.

Last but not least... If you are looking for a great meal night out for a Buffet, the Wicked Spoon in the Cosmopolitan is amazing, as is the inside of the Cosmopolitan with its thousands of Samsung screens alone. You will walk in and be absolutely amazed at that show alone. They change but their affects (ie aquarium) are VERY realistic.

If you want to see some Vegas shots... look back a bit at my IG page...

Essentially Tech Media (@allflashz06) • Instagram photos and videos

Scroll down passed the Thaland and vette pics and there will be a bunch of vegas shots from January...and videos as a matter of fact.

Last but not least, if you are looking for a high end restaurant to take the wife one night... let me know. I have been to my share through business there and could write a book on restaurants and Vegas.
