The gas station has been closed since Christmas ,not sure when the car appeared .The rest of the car looked only fair .Maybe it's a barn find without the barn .

I think a vanity plate costs more per year than a tarp..!

After much deliberation, I think I have the answer. This C3 had never been driven in the snow before. The owner came to Town one day, got caught in an unexpected snowstorm and since he wants to be able to sell the car this spring as "never been driven in snow", he parked and tarped it....albeit tarped it poorly..... There. Watching all those forensic cop shows finally pays off....

No snow under the car. Maybe blew the tranny and got towed that far and just parked it lol , tarped it but the wind grabbed it. I'd sooner have snow on it then sun and rain.

I've always said Corvettes are living breathing things with feelings .Leaving a vett like that is like kicking a small dog and I felt sorry for the car .
The car's registration expired about 5 years ago .I suspect the car was left off prior to the last snow .If I knew who owned it I'd offer free storage in a warm comfy garage with other cars to talk to .
