Hydro boost brake conversion

Hey there.. Just wondering if anyone has done a Hydro boost brake conversion on a c3 vette without using a kit? If so , what model and year of gm or chev pickup did you get your hydro booster from and did you use your original master cylinder? I am a running a little low on vacuum and wouldn't mind the extra room the hydro boost unit provides as well.

All finished with the conversion.. Way more braking power (just need to get some good test runs in to get the air out) ... don't need any more info..
