All looks good , no error messages. From what I researched it could either be a bad sensor or possibly the rubber flap you open to check the oil was not put back on properly and it can interfere with the sensor. Anyways I guess it is off to the dealer next week.

Okay. A C7 owner going to dip a toe in C8 waters ....
Have you had your battery disconnected recently? I'm thinking you need to "index" your windows?
.... Its a C6, C7 thingy ....
:Cheers2:

Off to the dealer tomorrow, will let you know what the problem was. Very rare that I take a vehicle to a dealer or mechanic but do not have a choice here. Hopefully under warranty. From what I read to manually open it you need to take the passenger seat out , then the back liner , then use a special tool to release the top.

You can do that in your driveway. I hear the weather will be good tomorrow. If you order the special tool from Amazon Prime within the next 3 hours, it will be delivered by 9:30 Wednesday. You should get on that now...

So as I was afraid , my top is not working because I did not fully and correctly close the rubber boot over the engine oil check access cover. Another lesson learned the hard way.
I did that once and my roof still worked. I could here more engine noise though and that is how I knew it was not closed properly.
