How to raise Targa Top Trunk Mounts to clear Subs

I am posting some videos on my sons YouTube channel. 7 weeks ago I purchased a C6 that has sub enclosures that fit in the corner of the trunk. When you put the top in the trunk, it rests against the sub rings and unless you have very recessed subs, they will get chewed up hitting the top. This video shows step by step how I was able to raise the location of the mounts resulting in a factory look. Now my Targa Top is away from the subs. FYI, the JBL speakers that come with those enclosures are absolute crap. For $300 CND I replaced both with Rockford Punch P1’s. They are an amazing match for the enclosure size and interior size of a coupe C6. My hair vibrates from the base.
