For anyone interested, I was wondering how many 2LT 2020 C8 convertibles were produced that had my same exterior colour (Blade Silver) and interior 2-tone colour combo (black and grey) [see attached photo], given the fact my exterior colour wasn't super popular and also because that colour was a "one and done", having been replaced in the 2021 MY with the darker Silver Flare Metallic. The best I could determine from the National Corvette Museum 2020 final stats, were that of the 20,368 C8's made, 3,581 were convertibles, 272 of them were Blade Silver and 107 of those had some type of grey interior (combining all the grey and the 2-tone versions). I figured some of this out by looking at the Codes on my WorkBench Order.
I'm now told that 12 C8 convertibles with my exterior/interior colour were produced, for all the 2020 MY. All of them were 2LT so no one built a 1LT or a 3LT. Of those 12, 11 were shipped to the States and only one came to Canada.
I didn't know you could track down this info and I'm surprised mine is the only one in Canada.
For anyone else looking to find out this info for your Corvette, don't contact GM direct. Instead, ask the GM Heritage Center which is located in Michigan. Their email address is: [email protected] and they gave me their permission to pass along this info in the Forums. They promptly answered my questions in a couple of days for n/c, so a great service which I suspect is funded by GM (thanks GM).
Hope this helps out.
