How low is the Stock C8?

I'm stilling on my allocation but as someone who's only really driven normal cars... how low is the C8 stock (with the Z51 splitter) and should I be terrified anytime I near a driveway or curb?

If you're worried about driveways, I'd consider getting the front lift option. If you're worried about curbs I'd consider a 4x4!

Haha, the curbs would be within my control, but yeah, it's the uneven roads or driveways that would concern me.

I think some driveways will need the 'drive the front wheels on while perpendicular' method of approach. I'm not sure how they measure ground clearance, my M6 had 4 inches and I think the c8 is listed as 5 inches. Must be without the front splitter.
For me, front lift will not be a part of my order, I'd rather allocate the funds to mag-ride. But then again mine will not be a daily driver.
Personally, I kind of like having to be extra careful on such things, it reminds me the car is extra special, just my 2 cents...

We use the front lift at 1 location. Living in Uxbridge where the roads are terrible, I can tell you that other than a few driveways there is no issue with a C8's ride height

It sounds like one of those things you don't need until you need it. Right now my build is coming down to this or the magnetic ride control and I don't think I really need that.

There both good options, but I think if I had to choose one I’d go for the magnetic ride. You can always be careful entering and exiting driveways, going in on an angle etc… but you’ll get the benefits of the mag ride everywhere you go!

I have the front lift. Glad I got it. The ride hight is fine. I’ve never really had an issue with ride hight. However, it has saved me with speed bumps and some driveways. Hopefully these pics help.

For me the front lift has been a great option and I highly recommend it. I also have mag ride which is also amazing. Get both and delete something else if you can. For curbs you need 2lt or 3lt for the front camera.

I was gonna say....the C8 isnt that low. My current 19 Mustang GT is almost a full inch lower, and ive never scraped driveway lips or had issues on any speed bumps. I would go for the mag ride and forgo the front lift. This won't be a daily driver for me anyway.

I feel like an idiot, and I wish I was paying more attention but I was trying to keep the order under 100k because of the luxury tax, but including the MRC would mean the luxury tax would only add like $200... I think I might just get both just to be safe and have no regrets.

You’re only going to buy this car once (well who really knows since a couple of forum members have already bought a couple C8s) so get everything you want and can afford so you will have no regrets.
