Hood alignment

Does anyone have some good strategies oN how to get good hood alignment.

Loosen upper fender bolts and gently spread fenders outboard, a tad. Use a shim made from plastic or wood (popsicle sticks). Lower hood, find yor "happy spots" / gap. Slowly snug bolts up, checking gap after each one.

Loosen slightly, shim between panels with thick cardboard and paint sticks etc to center the good between the fenders. Voila, done. Open hood carefully, tighten bolts.
