Hello from Central Sask.

.....Hi everyone. Been a car/truck guy many years building , showing and driving but never had a corvette. I'm as old as the first vette, so kinda running outta time here and about a month ago I finally bought my dream car. It was like going back in time and ordering what I wanted off the list. In short I now have a nice 82 crossfire. Looking forward to picking up some info here as I learn about this new toy. Pics and details to follow....:coolgleam:

Welcome XFire82. That is quite a fleet you have there. Some very nice cars indeed.

X-fire......"the wave" is a greeting to all vette owners(c1-c7) whether you meet them head-on, at an intersection or passing them (commonly a two finger "v" SALUTE).......not to be confused with the wave "down-low" that motorcycle guys exchange....

..ok, so it's 2 fingers not one , got yah. something like Spock's " live long and prosper " should work then ... cruised a part of Saskatoon on sunday and never seen another corvette......the dealer guy I went to see said " you are driving it ? " I replied, " why do you think I bought it ? "

maybe see you around somewhere, I'm in moose jaw. welcome

........I think they are still kinda hiding the car, but a friend very very close to your place there has a very nice 66 coupe, dark grey, 327 4 spd, knockoffs , black interior , all original , even has the original spark plugs in a box that were changed out. Slim chance you seen it on the road but maybe one day they will sell it, untill then I guess it just quietly sits.

well I would love to see that car for sure. you should check out the Black Hills corvette ralley sometime. it's very well attended from even the eastern stat
es and there are a few of us canucks too.
