Likely old news to some, but I was shocked. GM seems to be cleaning house. Did Tariffs have something to do with it?

Sad to see Harlan go as he was a fantastic ambassador for the brand and a good friend to all of us enthusiasts. However, we need to remember that GM is just like any huge corporation. Developing and strategically moving executives is like a giant chess board as you shuffle the pieces around the board. There is a team coming up the ranks. GM needs to keep them challenged and motivated to stay with GM. They also need to be building a new team who can be with Corvette for a dozen or more years. There have been a number of "retirements" from the Corvette team this year. I suspect that GM is retiring the old guard and moving up the next generation of Corvette executives who will take the car and the brand to the next stages of evolution. Sad to see old friends go but it is part of keeping a major corporation moving forward.
