I just drove my new (7800 miles) 03 50th home from World Fine Cars in TO.
The car seemed to bottom out on bad bumps so after checking the magnetic ride shock section on the corvette forum I was advised that maybe the GM dealer forgot to remove the shipping blocks on the shocks.
Sure enough they were there, so I took them out and what a difference in the ride.
Other people test drove this car and maybe did not like the way it rode.
So somebody drove this car 10 years thinking it rode like crap.
World fine cars do not sell many Vettes so they did not know about the blocks.
The dealer could not do enough for me.
When they could not find the front filler and frame where the front plate goes, they were on the phone to Wilson Niblet to order these.
It turns out they were in the trunk of the vette.
They offered to pick me up at the GO station, not like lack of Courtesy Chev.
This dealer is old school in dealing with customers, very fair and friendly.
Between Scott Drumond and these people my faith is restored in car dealers.
