Happy St. Pat's day back atcha Bucks and to all the members. You have certainly gained notoriety here for not only your compilation of sweet Corvettes but also your timely tributes to, and reminders of the special occasions. Go easy on the green beer.

Where would this site be without the Grrrreat Moderator & CCF Members ....
It definitely a team effort here ...
And What a GRRRRReat Team it is ....

You may get a chance to use that plow yet Bill. I did mine today. We hav3 had close to 30 over the last few days but i refused to plow and break something when it was 30 below. Warmed up to -10 today so figured I better get to it. Pretty near the time of year when I put the responsibility on to Mother Nature...If she brings it, she can damn well take it away...lol...

Thanks Bucks. You hit the nail on the head. This forum was built and managed by a great team, and populated by great members, long before I came along. Now it's purely my pleasure to be part of this group, call you my friends, and and help out wherever I can. :Cheers2:

Hopefully it's an older model sled.... usually easy to work on and easy to get running after being laid up a while... I sold sleds back in my youth for a shop in NS. Was a lot of fun... Had a 6000 El Tigre` for a few years... Little more engine than the Puma... Much like a Corvette... More power than you really need but feels so damn good when you have it under your butt.... lol... :)

There were some gooders back then... Handled like crap compared to now but we didn't know the difference.... Bout my time everyone and their dogs were coming out with another new brand name sled.... I had a 640 TNT back about that time... traded it on a 400 FreeAir... fast as hell but had to work on it every second day....lol.... I haven't had a sled since 84... don't really miss them either... Other than going to the mountains, not enough snow here to make it worthwhile....

I know nothing of sleds, but I do know St. Patty's day! Happy SPD everyone...... now, please continue on with the talk about sleds. I find it interesting how you could snowmobile before there was dirt. :D

Riley.... Glad you asked... Sleds were the only was we could get the Woolly Mammoth meat and hides home to our caves and the faster the sled, the less meat that spoiled before you got home.... Still common practice in Canada. Why? How do you do it in Saskatoon? :D

Well, luckily enough, I came around about the time that your generation invented dirt. Which I appreciate because your hard work has made life easier for my generation. Now the Afro-Ellie's (new kid slang for Wooly mammoths) were able to travel a little closer to the saskabush so we didn't have to traverse as far as yourselves. It was a long walk but we're still able to go out and use our boom sticks to bring them down and drag them home.
Just don't get me started on the kids these days. They don't know what dirt is and think that mammoth just appears in front of them without any work. :D
